Steven Sterling is a South African singer, songwriter, actor, producer, master of ceremonies, voice artist, life coach and motivational speaker with more than 25 years of experience in the music, media and entertainment industry. He began his professional music career in 2000 with Select Music and later founded his own independent music brand, Sterling Music, which has continued to develop into a creative platform for various music projects, recordings and digital releases. 

With more than 40,000 album sales, 17 releases and over 1,800 live performances, Steven has performed throughout South Africa and internationally, including appearances and tours in the USA, United Kingdom, Israel, Jordan and Palestine. His double gold album Take My Hand, recorded with Ryan Walt, became the official theme song for the Cancer Association of South Africa and remains one of his most meaningful musical collaborations. 

Steven’s music blends Afrikaans listening songs, inspirational music, crooner-style performance and heartfelt ballads. His work is available on major streaming platforms, with a growing digital audience and more than 1.7 million YouTube views reflecting his ongoing connection with listeners. 

As an actor and television personality, Steven has appeared in well-known South African productions including 7de Laan, Getroud met Rugby and Binnelanders. He has also worked as a presenter, producer and entertainer on television projects such as Boerie Boeties, and has experience in radio presenting and voice-over work, including dubbing for international television content. 

Beyond the stage, Steven is also a life coach, NLP practitioner and motivational speaker. His work focuses on faith, emotional healing, personal transformation and helping people reshape the way they think, respond and move forward. This passion led to the development of Map2Soul — both as a coaching method and as a mobile app for reflection, journaling, prayer, emotional growth and spiritual encouragement.
